All You Need to Know About Persian Cats!

Persian cats are cute, little furry babies who have round head, small rounded ears, and big clear eyes. They have a flat and pushed-in-looking face with chubby cheeks. Persian cats are one of the most popular feline breeds. Let’s know more about Persian Cats:

       1. ORIGIN

Peitro, an Italian nobleman travelled from Venice to Indian, passing through Turkey and Persia, was amazed after looking at the first Persian cat. He got 4 pairs, sent them to Rome, and arrived, according to what is believed, in 1621.  Fabri was a scientist who also yielded to felines he considered “elegant and beautiful”. The scientist brought angora cats from Turkey to France.

  2. PERSONALITY

Persian cats are quiet. They are the most affectionate felines. They love to sleep and adore their beauty.  They can easily co-exist with other pets.   Persian cats have no hunting instinct. The reason behind this is that Persian Cats enjoy living indoors, thus, not going outside leads to no hunting instinct.

 3. SIZE

A healthy Persian cat will measure around 40 to 50 cm long and 30cm tall.  They can way around 7kgs.  They have short and broad legs with rounded and muscular bodies.   If you are willing to adopt a healthy Persian cat, make sure you adopt it from a good breeder.  A good breeder will make sure that their cats are healthy and are fully-vaccinated.  We have heard that Storybrooke Persians cats are absolutely healthy and all their cats are PKD negative which ticks the box of good health. They hold specialization in extreme types of Persian cats.  Storybrooke Persians also offers Pet insurance whenever you adopt a cat from them. Pedigree cats are available for adoption at Storybrooke Persians.
